Specialists in Hydraulic Generators and Hydraulic Power Solutions
Our
product range is simple "Hydraulic Generators", the unique design of our
manifold system enables us to offer an extensive range of hydraulic generators
utilising the same compact manifold system and adaptor arrangement.
We offer units with power outputs from 2.5 through to 30kVa, single or
three phase, 50 or 60hz as well as dc generators and welding generators.
Our standard units are available from 2.5 to 12kVa, units
over 12kVa are built to order.
The hydraulic generator consists of several component parts, alternator, gear
motor and manifold. Our basic generator consists of only an alternator and gear
motor close coupled, these units are suited where your existing hydraulic
circuit is able to give a regulated fixed flow rate as determined by the gear
motor to drive the alternator at a fixed speed. All of our machines have to
operate at a fixed speed of 3000rpm, for example a hydraulic generator fitted
with a 7cc gear motor will require a flow rate 21 litres, which is 7cc x
3000rpm, how much power is available is determined by the pressure available at
the required flow rate from the existing hydraulic system.
We then offer two different manifold systems, one for
hydraulic systems utilising fixed displacement pumps and one for
variable displacement pumps or swash pumps as they are commonly
known.
The fixed displacement manifolds incorporate all of the
components required for the generator to be integrated into the
existing hydraulic system circuit (see below)

P1 is the flow input from the existing gear pump, P2 is flow
out to the existing hydraulic system, only when the diverter
valve is energised will the generator work, this will isolate
all other functions of the equipment on which it is installed,
T1 is tank return, the manifold also incorporates a pressure
compensated flow control valve, pressure relief valve and
anti-cavitation valve.
The variable displacement system is somewhat different and
usually has to be adapted to suit the application, the manifold
incorporates a load sense port and an additional shuttle valve
has to be incorporated into the existing load sense line from
the swash pump, we can provide expert guidance on the
installation of this unit, we would normally require a copy of
the hydraulic schematic.
We continue to develop our range of hydraulic driven
equipment expanding beyond the generator market, if there is
something you would like to see then please do not hesitate to
